Biography

Lawrence Smith is an actor (SAG), producer (PGA), and President & CEO of Mad Riot Entertainment and Describe The Ruckus. In 2014, he co-founded Mad Riot with acclaimed producer Mark Canton ("300", "300: Rise of An Empire", "Den of Thieves," and the STARZ original series "Power"). Lawrence was born September 9, 1969, in Brooklyn, NY, and raised on the North Shore of Long Island. With over 20 years of Wall Street experience, Lawrence transitioned into the entertainment industry by consulting on Wall Street-themed major studio films. He appeared in films directed by Oliver Stone, Darren Aronofsky, Taylor Hackford, and Martin Scorsese, most notably alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in "The Wolf of Wall Street." Lawrence worked with Scorsese for a second time in the Netflix Original film, "The Irishman" playing Teamster enforcer, "Louis" opposite Robert De Niro.
