Storyline:  A New York radio reporter and his sound engineer are assigned to cover a civil conflict in Ecuador. After losing their passports, they fake their dispatches from a local apartment, pretending to be in the war zone. When their deception spirals out of control, the pair become the center of an international scandal and must find a way to survive their own lie.
