The Fighter (2010)

Plot Summary

A story of two brothers and a family defined by boxing. Dicky was a promising young boxer, but his conflicted lifestyle limited him to being the trainer of his younger brother, Micky. However, after a difficult fight, Micky decides to listen to his girlfriend Charlene who advises him to distance himself from his controlling family. Will he resign himself to going after the world title? Behind the sports drama, the tension resides in the family: strong performances by Christian Bale and Melissa Leo, both of whom won the Oscar.
