This film has many suggestive themes involved, which was released four years before the elimination of the Hays Office Code. Like Elvis' character persuades Ann-Margret's character, showgirls appear on stage in skimpy outfits, Ann-Margret danced in tights in one sequence and danced on stage in a bathing suit in another sequence.

In the car racing scene toward the end of the movie some of the crashes are sufficiently violent that the drivers could easily have been killed.
