Storyline:  Walter Neff, an insurance salesman, is seduced by Phyllis Dietrichson, a woman planning to murder her husband for the proceeds of a double indemnity policy. They devise a scheme to kill Mr. Dietrichson and claim the insurance money, but complications arise when people begin to suspect foul play. As the plan unravels, Neff wonders if he's being manipulated.
