Ultraviolence: The Afro-Slasher from Hell

"ULTRAVIOLENCE" is a psychedelic, all-black, female-led slasher flick reminiscent of the drive-in film experience of yesteryear. Alone in her childhood bedroom on a particularly filthy Pasadena night, Kelly downs a bag of magic mushrooms before spinning a record on her player. She dances around her room, the music violating her as she loses herself in the evil, bass-heavy rap song emanating from the speakers. Soon after, Kelly's girlfriend Jalissa and her best friend Imani arrive to kick it with their home-girl. But what the girls don't know, is that they're being watched. 'By whom?' One might ask. By someone who has unfinished business in that quaint Pasadena homestead. And just like that, Kelly and her friends are thrust into a night of revelation and torture, some physical, some psychological... but all genuine.
