A Console Game Fan Is Satisfied with TV Version. The TV series is fully respecting the game itself, and the detail changing of the plot was innocuously. It can be seen that the crew has tried my best to take care of ordinary viewers who are not familiar with the game. Although the casting is really not my favorite, Pedro Pascal is not bad to be Joel Miller, but Bella Ramsey is really not good as Ellie, besides she looks like Elliot Page a lot. The series was dedicated with emotions, the story was under the grand proposition, there is no problem in taking pictures with humane thinking. There is another upcoming TV series The Mandalorian season 3 by Pedro Pascal in March.

The Gorge: Romantic assassins in the middle of a Lovecraftian landscape

One of the most promising releases of the beginning of the year in the streaming world has been the blockbuster film The Gorge, released on February 14 (a very appropriate date) immerses us in a world of conspiracies and apocalyptic threats while surprisingly integrating romance in an organic way, all happening in an impressive and huge space of isolation. The Gorge is a film that shows you a display of original monsters and a landscape worthy of a Lovecraft nightmare, but to your complete surpr

Ana Maria Herrera Orjuela: What a fascinating article, full of analysis, emotions and mainly narrative skill. Thank you for sharing it. Is Joel Miller Aging in the Apocalypse? Comparing Pedro Pascal’s Look in The Last of Us Seasons 1 & 2

Joel is my favorite hero across the Last of Us games and the show. Season 2 just dropped, and honestly? They’re nailing his character. Dude’s been through hell and back—tougher but also visibly older. The makeup team deserves a raise. The changes from S1 to S2 are super subtle (gray hairs, that tired dad energy), but the details make it feel real. Anyone else obsessed with how they’re handling his aging?

When did the apocalypse begin in The Last of Us?

"The Last of Us" tells the story of how a fungal virus ended up spreading across the world and destroying modern civilization. The production has become a real hit on HBO/HBO Max, but what many viewers question is how this disaster began. What was the trigger that turned the world into this dangerous dystopia? CineBuzz explains. In the third episode of the first season, entitled "Long Long Time", Joel (Pedro Pascal) in a conversation with Ellie (Bella Ramsey) reveals the date and how the pandemi

Joel Might Not Die: The Last of Us Season 2 Trailer’s Big Tease

Joel might not die. For a devoted fan of The Last of Us like me, this isn’t just an idle guess—it’s based on careful observation of the trailer’s details and an analysis of the show’s adaptation strategy. In season 1, the series boldly adjusted and innovated the game’s narrative, keeping the spirit of the original while adding new layers of emotional depth. So, can Joel’s fate be rewritten this time? That’s the question I’m dying to find out. Let’s get straight to the point: Joel’s fate is delib

Nintendo’s Switch 2 and Movies: Too Damn Slow!

The gaming world’s been buzzing lately, and the hottest topic? Nintendo finally dropping their new console, the Switch 2. As an old-school gamer who grew up with the NES, I’m always hyped to see what Nintendo’s cooking. But when this so-called “next-gen” console got unveiled, I wasn’t jumping for joy—I was just… meh. Honestly, it felt predictable, even a little disappointing. To me, it’s just another half-assed upgrade, like they’re squeezing toothpaste out of a nearly empty tube. Not worth the
