I could barely stand it starting from the latter half of the first season and totally gave up by the second. Yet, the theme songs and soundtracks remain unforgettable. I liked Ryan in particular since the beginning, and I think the first 1-2 episodes could serve as material for a movie. Mischa Barton’s lack of acting skills was a no-go for me.

"The O.C." boasts beautiful girls and boys with distinct personalities. It was surprising to see Sandy and Kirsten, the loving couple, facing issues in season 2. I'm looking forward to seeing how their story unfolds.

I think it was the first series I followed by downloading back in the early 2000s when the internet was still new territory. It's your typical White People Problems melodrama, but it's a light and enjoyable series to watch. It has a bit of everything—comedy, drama, romance, even a touch of suspense. I loved it as a teenager, and I still love it today!
