Darling in the Franxx (2018)

In a ruined future, humanity survives in mobile fort cities called Plantations. Children raised inside, isolated in a place called Mistilteinn or the “birdcage,” know only battle. Trained to pilot robots called Franxx, they fight giant creatures known as Kyouryuu. For them, piloting is not just duty, it’s the only way they feel they truly exist.
