Tune Team was a BBC Cymru Wales 6 x 30" light entertainment series presented by Josie D'Arby and Rhodri Williams which followed the commissioning process of a piece of new music to suit various occasions around Wales. Andrew Miller directed two episodes, the first of which followed acclaimed film composer John Hardy creating a piece of original lift music for the Centre of Alternative Technology funicular at Machynlleth. The second episode followed pop star Mike Peters of The Alarm over the course of single week, compose a new song "To The End", assemble an all-star band of Pete Wylie (Mighty Wah!) Glen Matlock (Sex Pistols) Kirk Brandon (Spear of Destiny) Steve Grantley (Stiff Little Fingers) and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales to record and perform the track at the closing ceremony of the 2001 Special Olympics in Cardiff Castle. This episode was nominated for the 2002 Bafta Cymru Light Entertainment Award Category.
