The pacing is commendable, but the first episode is a bit too dramatic, trying too hard to prove itself and keep the audience hooked. Hopefully, this isn't a case of "all looks and no substance". The boss' character appears to be a blend of a socio-political figure, embodying aspects of both a good cop/bad cop dynamic and the grit of a hard-boiled detective. I don't expect this series to be as good as The Shield, but I do hope the writers aspire to create something great that steers clear of clichés and sentimentality. It's crucial for them to avoid portraying the police as simple purveyors of black-and-white justice, opting instead for a more nuanced and realistic portrayal.

Boa, mas tem que assistir tudo junto??.Melhor série da família "Chicago", o que não chega a ser um super elogio, porque a dos Bombeiros é bem boba e a do Hospital é uma reedição - cansada - de E.R., que, por sinal, também era em Chicago, ou seja, isso já foi feito.

Ué, mas ok.Um tantão mais violenta e acelerada do que eu esperava, me lembrou muito "The Shield", e achei surpreendente ser produção do Dick Wolf. Apesar de eles entuxarem umas dicas aqui e ali logo de cara da vida pessoal de cada agente, não consegui me apegar a nenhum personagem e ainda demorou um tempão pra entender quem era quem, mas é boazinha, sim.
