I've read the books, and let me tell you, watching Snape's demise and seeing those eyes, like Lily's, nearly brought tears to my eyes. But here's the thing—the emotional impact came straight from the books, not the movie. And don't even get me started on how the movies butchered such a masterpiece. Sure, the movie tries to cram the whole saga into a couple of hours, but it falls short when it comes to fleshing out the intricate web of relationships. To me, it feels like they've boiled down Harry Potter's world into nothing more than a personal grudge between him and Voldemort. The storytelling? Rushed and surface-level, lacking that depth I was craving for.
