An animated version of Ready Player One, with a blatant disregard for copyright. The film bombards viewers with internet and gaming references while paying homage to classics like La La Land, 2001: A Space Odyssey, and King Kong through clever Easter eggs. The highlight comes with the Disney princesses' self-deprecating humor, which makes it extra funny compared to how they're usually portrayed. With its abundance of pop culture elements and attempts at emotional expression, the film skims the surface rather than delving deeper into profound themes. It opts for a scattergun approach, sacrificing potential depth for maximum amusement.

The imaginative deconstruction of its internet rival Inside Out, while the gaming elements harken back to Ready Player One. Disney achieves unprecedented levels of self-deprecation, and only they could pull off the copyright-related scenes featuring the Disney princesses. The first half is full of surprises and Easter eggs, with boundless creativity comparable to Pixar, but the second half goes back to Disney's usual formula. However, the internet references could have been explored further, and focusing on "friendship" seems like a missed opportunity to dig deeper.
