1) It's like catching a glimpse of the old days of American dramas, with solid story ideas, great performances by the cast, and some nice Easter eggs. While the plot doesn't seem to be progressing much at the moment, the overall viewing experience is very comfortable. 2) There's a delightful balance between the portrayal of life and family dynamics in this show, making for interesting character interactions. The addition of the child character is just right, making it one of the better sitcoms I've watched recently. 3. The latter part of the series picks up pace, particularly the arc involving the violent woman, which is very touching. The subplot with the lawyer is also intriguing, and several episodes are dedicated to discussing child education issues, culminating in a heartwarming conclusion. I'm looking forward to see how the child's character develops further.
