The Shawshank Redemption was overshadowed by the immensely popular Forrest Gump at the 67th Oscars. However, as time has passed, The Shawshank Redemption has become more prominent in the hearts of many than Forrest Gump. Whenever reality wears me down, turning to this film revitalizes my spirit.

Aventura poética.Maravihoso, elenco impecável, e um roteiro muito bem ritmado e escrito, quase que poético, com um final surpreendente. Porém extremamente longo, principalmente considerando que é baseando em um *conto*.
