This series is about menswear rather than men, so Brienne is so important to be skipped.
The appearance of Brienne is horrible in the book. Actor Gwendoline Christie beautifies her more than a little bit. She is 1.91 meters tall. She wears a light blue robe with the Tasman emblem embroidered on the chest, which sets off her blond hair and blue eyes.

Brienne is one of the few idealists in GoT who have a good ending.
Her combat power is among the best even among men. She defeated Loras Tyrell and the Hounds. She keeps her vows and is more chivalrous than any male in the show. Although she is the only daughter of an aristocrat, she is unwilling to be a lady because of her talent in martial arts and unpopular looks. She is herself when in armor and wielding a long sword.
She has three sets of armor. The first one can’t be said to be a “set” because different parts have different colors. She used the prize money to buy them bit by bit and put them together.

The second set of all-black armor was a gift from Jaime.
During her stay after escorting Jaime back to King's Landing, Jaime had the suit of armor made to order. The belt is clearly in the style of House Lannister, and the leather squares on the chain mail skirt emboss the sun pattern of her family crest. All the details show care.

The armor Jaime gave to Brienne was made of better metals and the appearance did not change much except for the color. There are no fancy decorations in style at all.
In some way, the gift reflects the giver who is plain and simple. As we can see, Jaimes is not a person who pays attention to appearances.
A set of armor that witnessed the beautiful friendship between James and Brienne.
In GoT, the designer made two versions of the armor. One is metal and the other is rubber. when fighting, relatively safe rubber armor is worn. The difference between the two types on screen is so subtle to notice. According to the designer, the glossiness of the rubber is slightly weaker.

As we can see, Brienne's armor is neutral. It seems that the designer consciously avoided emphasizing the female body curves.
In her first appearance, Brienne competed with the Knight of Flowers with a helmet covering her face. After winning, the moment she took off the helmet, everyone was surprised to find it was a woman. If the armor was spoiled in advance, the surprise would be lost.
Finally, Brienne was honored as Captain of the Kingsguard. The uniform armor looked like it was designed directly based on her previous two sets.

Kingsguard is marked with a crown with three sharp horns, reflecting their duty to protect the king.

Every time the royal power changed, the armor of the Royal Guard would change according to the aesthetics of the new king. Here is a brief review of all the Kingsguard armors that appeared in 8 seasons. The following is the evolution of the breastplate pattern:

Aerys II Targaryen: Three dragons emblem of House Targaryen
Robert: Beautifully decorated crown emblem
Joffrey: The crown logo is made of antlers and swords which is more aggressive.
Tommen: The king is reduced to a puppet of the High Sparrow. The seven-pointed star of the religion of the Seven surrounds the crown. The armor of the predecessor is not changed but added a piece of iron is to the chest.
Cersei: Although it is not the crown on the Kingsguard logo, it still retains the concept and directly copies the shape.
Bran: The pattern is the three-eyed raven. Obviously, the theocracy overwhelmed the king's power to rule Westeros in an all-around way.
