Patrick Jane is a crime consultant with the California Bureau of Investigation, where he uses his razor sharp skills observation and expertise at "reading" people to solve serious crimes.
Slightly disappointing. It's somewhat mainstream, and the plot doesn't focus on the reasoning process but instead mysteriously reveals the killer. It lacks the sharpness and fantastical feeling depicted in the poster. The male lead is a bit too low-key and mysterious for my taste, while the female lead is too similar to that of Castle, only more murderous. The first three episodes all involve the deaths of young women, and I'd thought there might be a pattern.
