A motorcycle club operates illegal businesses ranging from the pornography industry to arms trafficking, while its president has to deal with his personal life as well.
I just wrapped up all seven seasons before wanting to share my thoughts, and let me tell you, this show is seriously incredible! And you'll find this show really cool if you're familiar with motorcycle gang culture (some of the actors are actually part of American motorcycle gangs). Honestly, I never really cared for Jax's mom, but I gotta give it to her: she's a tough woman in the show!
I went to see this show because of Charlie Hunnam and motorcycle stuff, but there wasn't much about motorcycles in the show at all. The further I got into the show, the more contrived the plot felt. I know this ain't a documentary, but it still felt way too disconnected from real-life experiences, making it all seem a bit far-fetched.
The intro had me intrigued, showing the turf battle between the town's small gang and other factions. While it started off well, the slow pace and lackluster content made it lose its spark. The plot needed more depth, and the characters felt flat, which made me lose interest.
SAMCRO forever.Incredible story, complex characters and a higly versatile script whose only constant rule other than, paradoxically, SAMCRO's very code (very Fight Club sort of), is the fact that no character, no one at all, is sacred. It's a layered, complex, at times even a tinge philosophical and poetic show that however never fails to do its primary job of entertaining and delivering incredible performances by the cast. A classic and a must-watch.
Iconic. Both the series and each of its characters are unique and unmatched. Never before has a series marked me so much. A masterpiece hands down, I definately recommend it!!
Drama on two wheels.Inspired by Hamlet’s story, "Sons of Anarchy" takes the organized crime genre to the next level. Full of adrenaline and betrayal, this series lets us take a look at the world of the clubs of motorized criminals.
Among guns and motorcycles. One of the most popular series in TV is also one of the most thrilling stories about bikers. The adrenaline experienced in each episode makes you want to keep on watching.
Shakespeare's bikers. This story about loyalty, fraternity and violence adapts the narrative of "Hamlet" to more contemporary times. The "Sons of Anarchy" are the indestructible owners of the road.
