This is such a whimsical and incredibly romantic story, portraying a world where all the misfits band together to combat the darkness. It's really, really hard not to be moved. The Amphibian Man is a mysterious creature that could symbolize other people in the film, such as the mute woman. While it's understandable that the characters may be somewhat stereotypical, the love story is just so beautiful, making me tear up.

I'am obsessed with the payoff for the protagonists scars. So f* beautiful
