🎬 Captain America: Brave New World

📝 Review by Cinegram

Despite the heavy hype and the return of beloved MCU characters, Captain America: Brave New World lands somewhere between bold ambition and missed opportunity. While Anthony Mackie embraces his new role as Sam Wilson/Captain America with conviction, the film struggles to balance its themes, action, and political undertones.

The return of classic characters like Betty Ross (Liv Tyler) and Samuel Sterns/The Leader (Tim Blake Nelson) is a nostalgic nod for longtime fans, but the script fails to give them enough meaningful impact. Harrison Ford as “Thunderbolt” Ross is a big-name addition, but even he feels underutilized amid a cluttered plot.

The action sequences are slick, but the pacing drags in several places. The film tries to address weighty issues—identity, leadership, power—but does so with uneven focus. Giancarlo Esposito’s villain is promising, yet never quite gets the spotlight he deserves.

Brave New World is watchable and has some powerful moments, especially involving Isaiah Bradley and the legacy of the shield, but the film ultimately feels more like a setup for future MCU entries than a story that stands confidently on its own.

🗨️ Final Verdict: A decent continuation with a few standout moments, but lacking the emotional punch and coherence we’ve come to expect from Marvel’s best.
