One of the best movies ever, regardless of genre. I usually avoid sci fi, but this movie is so thrilling, it has a fantastic cast, the soundtrack is on point and so is the storyline.
I haven't read the books, but this movie was so good I went straight to reading fan fictions about it. I love Austin Butler in this movie, my first time seeing him as a villain, and this might be the most exciting character he's ever played, besides Elvis.

OSCARS 2025 : The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

I. Introduction: Setting the Stage for the 2025 Oscars As we know, The Oscars are one of the most important events in cinema, the moment for us cinephiles live for the nominations, the speeches, and the heated debates that follow. This year, more than ever, it seems the Academy's selections haven't completely reflected the audience's preferences. We often recognize the genuine artistry, passion, and films that genuinely connect with viewers. The 2025 awards season has highlighted numerous instan

I'd say the top 25 or so are pretty definitive, but a lot of the later entries have some wiggle room of a few spaces up/down the lineup, especially considering I haven't seen a lot of them in 5+ years. My top 9 hasn't changed since I added Possession back in 2019. Showgirls cracked the top 10 when I first saw it back in 2022, and was most recently replaced by Sleep Has Her House in 2023. It's hard to imagine anything dethroning Dazed and Confused, but there are still a lot of movies out there...

Timothée Chalamet and the Art of the Press Tour

The greatest trick Timothée Chalamet ever pulled was making the world believe that A Complete Unknown's press tour was unplanned, organic and impulsive. It's easy to believe, since his movements are so uncommon. What other actor crashes a look-alike contest, goes on College GameDay, and sits down with a generational talent at the British Film Institute? Even when he does the usual press tour stops like interviews and premiers, he does them in a way that attracts attention, as we'll discuss. Chal

Is Kylie Jenner Ruining Timothee Chalamet?

Timothee Chalamet is… cool, I guess? I’m not a huge fan of him or anything, but he seemed to pick some interesting projects. He gives off a kind of classy intellectual vibe while still seeming grounded thanks to how awkward he is in interviews - I can’t imagine anyone choosing to come off as such an idiot, so it lends him a sense of authenticity. Overall, he seemed set to be the next Hollywood heartthrob, and it looked like audiences were finally choosing something more refined for once. And the

Dune: Prophecy Is Here, But Does Anyone Care?

HBO’s latest series, Dune: Prophecy (Season 1), has officially landed, yet it feels like the quiet thud of a sandworm moving underground—large in scope but barely noticed. As the entertainment world buzzes about Gladiator II, Wicked, and Moana 2, the latest expansion of the Dune universe seems to have slipped through the cracks. The cultural moment, it seems, belongs to colorful musicals, Roman epics, and animated nostalgia—not the windswept deserts of Arrakis or the whispers of Bene Gesserit co

Austin Butler: The Charismatic Star Shining Bright in Hollywood

In 2022, young actor Austin Butler received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his impressive portrayal of Elvis Presley in the film Elvis. This role marked a significant departure from his earlier image as a blonde heartthrob in teen shows like Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana Season 2, and The Carrie Diaries. In fact, his transition began earlier with roles in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and The Dead Don’t Die, collaborating with renowned directors like Quentin Tarantino and Jim

Villains Unveiled in ‘Dune: Part Two’

"Dune," originally written in the 1960s, is a masterpiece of science fiction literature known for its intricate and complex storylines. However, like all classic works, it faces the common challenge of being revered and emulated by generations of modern novels and films, making audiences well-versed in its narrative structures. Contemporary literary and cinematic works based on classic frameworks often add surprises, twists, and unexpected plots to cater to modern tastes. As a result, the thresh
