After soaking up Shazam's mediocrity, I couldn't help but write this article to dissuade you, don't waste your time going to the cinema.
The title of the film
Fury of the Gods? I doubt it. We all know that two gods are counted in the plural. But to be precise, there are only Hespera, Kalypso, Anthea, and, barely, a Wonder Woman. I do not know if the Gods will "fury", I am "fury" anyway.

Shazam
Shazam's superpower is the ability to transform and become an appearance of an adult. However, his mind has not changed after the transformation, still a child, so his behavior will appear more childish. I have no problem with this superpower, but I can't accept that the adult is more childish than the child before the transformation.

The truth is, they are not young.
Shazam is incredibly noisy and nonsensical once he transforms. If you don't know, you'll think he sacrificed his intelligence to gain divine power. Although he is a teenager, he will be 18 years old in another 5 months. It does not look cute, only stupid. As soon as I saw him transform, I physically felt a headache.
Shazam! (2019) tells Billy's story, with Shazam's appearance only as a punctuation mark. The plot mainly revolves around one character, and we just need to keep our eyes on him. The second episode, however, came straight out of the gate with six superheroes. Due to their superpowers, we have to face 6 teenage and 6 adult actors simultaneously. To be honest, I haven't been able to recognize all of these dozen faces after the movie is over. Except for the big sister, because two people are the same face.

There are six of them.
The biggest factor for superhero films to go downhill in recent years is probably the lack of imagination. Super speed, super strength, big lightning, flight, and other superpowers have been rotten for years, and in this movie, there are six heroes with the same ability.
Villain

Do the villains surprise people? Of course not. The three sisters of the villain are said to be in charge of the three divine powers. The eldest sister Hespera is in charge of the power of nature, in addition to summoning a mediocre shield, the rest remains a strength. The skill of turning things into sand and dirt has not appeared since.
The second sister Kalypso is in charge of the power of chaos, similar to Professor X's mind control, but her cast range is short, and the cast point is quite long. You must concentrate on listening to her read the spell for half a day before it works, feeling a kind of sluggishness.
The third sister Anthea, in charge of the axis of power, is considered the most interesting. She can cause the buildings around her to start spinning on the caster's axis. But when you think about it, this is at best a truncated version of Ancient One's spell. He made the whole world turn, while she could only make her surrounding side turn.
Other roles
Then talk about this dragon, Ladon. Theoretically, Ladon is the guardian of the gods with outstanding combat power. It can release fear, and anyone in front of it cannot move. But this skill was probably only released two times, and one failed. Usually, it spews blue flame as the attack method, with a short range, which is such a "pristine" way.

The villains go to the trouble of planting a tree and summoning a bunch of monsters, but the purpose is surprisingly to scare the inconsequential characters. Speaking of monsters, oh, pause for a moment and fire up Heroes of Might and Magic on my computer! Okay ladies and gentlemen, coming out next: Minotaur, Harpy, Cyclops, Manticore, Unicorn... and, in this movie, they only have basic attacks!

Snow White
The highlight of the film is probably the pre-recognition of Snow White and Evil Queen. Anthea's star Rachel Zegler, who also plays Snow White in Snow White (2024), and Gal Gadot, who plays Wonder Woman, is going to play her stepmother. The two performers get me very excited about Snow White, of which the Mirror will probably represent the film in the race for the Best Actress Oscar.

If I were to say the major attraction of the film, it would probably be Wonder Woman. It's not an exaggeration to conclude that Gal, with her chrisma, set off the climax of the whole movie with her cameo appearance. But there is also a negative effect, that is, I have seen in front of the fragmented plot all forgotten.
This a friendly reminder that there are two eggs at the end of the film. Come to all, at least watch the whole film, and then withdraw it.
