A new addition to the "Star Wars" universe, "The Acolyte" is an adventure and fantasy series scheduled to debut on Disney+ at some point in 2024. Set about 100 years before the events of "Episode 1 - The Phantom Menace" and during the High Republic era's end, the series follows a former Padawan and her Jedi Master as they investigate a series of crimes leading to sinister discoveries and hidden forces. The series was created by Leslye Headland and will feature eight episodes with a talented cast.

The Sympathizer

Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning book of the same name, "The Sympathizer" is a espionage miniseries coming to HBO Max at some point in 2024. Co-produced by A24 and with Park Chan-wook as one of the showrunners, the story follows a Vietnamese-French communist ex-spy exiled in the United States after the Vietnam War, who becomes a cultural consultant in Hollywood. The series stars Robert Downey Jr. and Hoa Xunude and will have seven episodes, with the fourth episode directed by Brazilian filmmaker Fernando Meirelles.

House of the Dragon

The second season of "House of the Dragon," a "Game of Thrones" prequel continuing the successful original series' story, is expected to arrive on HBO Max at some point in 2024.
